Glenburn Lodge & Spa is situated in the tranquility of the Zwartkops Mountains, on the banks of the Blaauwbank and Crocodile Rivers. Bird watching and fishing are welcome past times all within the beautiful natural surroundings. Of all the Guvon properties, Glenburn Lodge lends itself most to family fun, group excursions and outdoor activities due to the two rivers on the property, a beautiful mountain and stretches of grasslands all within a private game reserve. The circular routes start and finish at the rugby field close to Glenburn’s entrance. The green beginners route is for cyclists of all ages and levels, while the advanced red route is a technical ride with several up- and downhills with rocky stretches. Wonder Caves A natural wonder 2.2 million years old with 15m high formations, cave pearls, rim stone pools and stalactites. Lion & Safari Park A total of 600 head of game and 30 species including rhino, lion, buffalo, cheetah and wild dog can be seen during game drives. Sterkfontein Caves This cave was home to the most complete skull known as Mrs. Ples found in Hot air ballooning AirVentures fly from Glenburn Lodge & Spa and offer guest the opportunity to quietly drift over the Cradle of Humankind.
